Shanghaied in Shanghai

Our second day was supposed to be one half day. Our scheduled departure was 1:00 PM, but the fog rolled in and we sat with no scheduled departure. The fog creates dangerous conditions to navigate the river. A decision was made to extend our stay in Shanghai for another day and night. The river never opened for traffic and swells in the open sea were 18 feet high. The captain made the wise decision not to leave port.  We’ve gained a shopping day in this great city, but lost the port stop in Kobe, Japan

Life is good in Shanghai. This is a specialty/deli shop that was packed with shoppers.
Can you guess what the pictured delicacy is?
